Ongoing Fundraising – €5000 to be won by YOU!
During the pandemic we came up with an innovative idea to help raise money for our school. For as little as €2 per week you, your family & friends can support your childs school. The CBS Lotto is a lottery style fundraiser that takes place every Thursday night. Not alone can you (as parents) play, you can also share the link with family & friends and they too can play and thus contribute to our school. The more people you get to play, the more money the school gets and the bigger the jackpot!! Its a win-win for everyone!

The Parents Association organises a range of activities and initiates projects which aim to promote the education, interests and well-being of the pupils – our children – of C.B.S. Primary. We work closely with the Board of Management, Principal, school staff and pupils.
Our main aim is to continue to foster the spirit of partnership so that pupils, staff and parents can enjoy being part of the vibrant, inclusive and happy community that is C.B.S. Primary. The kind of activities we arrange throughout the year are: the Halloween Disco, Santa Visits,Easter Bingo, Family Table Quiz, Holy Communion Breakfast,School Calendar etc. The monies raised from these events go towards funding various things in the school for our children. We can not do this without the help and support from all parents in the school.
Getting Involved
We host our AGM in September each year. After that, we meet on the first Tuesday of each month (subject to change if school is closed) at 8pm in the staff room.
We encourage parents to attend any of these meetings, at any stage during the year, if possible. It is an effective way to rapidly get to know parents, other children and integrate fully within the school environment.
